Manama: \u00a0The Indian School Bahrain (ISB), a beacon of educational excellence and holistic development, hosted its Academic Award Ceremony for classes 9 to 12 at the Isa Town campus on Wednesday, June 4,2025 with great pride and jubilation. The event was a grand celebration of academic brilliance, honouring the top achievers of the CBSE examinations for the academic year 2024-2025.Held in the Jashanmal Auditorium, the ceremony saw the felicitation of approximately 230 meritorious students from senior sections. These students were honoured with medals and certificates for their stellar academic performances, with many also receiving recognition on the Principal\u2019s Honour Roll and Merit List.\"\"<\/div>\n
Chief Guest Indian Embassy Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires, Rajiv Kumar Mishra lighted the ceremonial lamp in the presence of\u00a0 ISB Hon.Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon. Vice-Chairman& Hon.Member-Sports \u00a0Dr Mohammed Faizal, Hon. Asst. Secretary & Hon.Member-Academics\u00a0 Ranjini Mohan, Hon. Member- Finance &IT Bonny Joseph, Hon. Member-Projects & Maintenance Mithun Mohan, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, Senior School &Academic Administration\u00a0 Vice-Principal G. Satheesh, Middle Section Vice-Principal Jose Thomas, Junior Wing Vice-Principal Priya Laji, Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas,\u00a0ISB \u00a0Platinum Jubilee General Convener Prince S. Natarajan, former EC member Ajayakrishnan V, community leaders Mohamed Hussain Malim, Shafi Parakatta,Vipin PM, Santhosh Babu and other well-wishers.<\/div>\n
Gold medals were awarded to Class XII school toppers Joel Sabu, Sreya Manoj, and Aradhya Kanodathil. Likewise, Class X toppers Devavrath Jeevan, Rajeevan Rajkumar, Deva Nanda Periyal, and Jomiya Kannanaikkal Joseph were recognised for their exemplary results. The academic newsletter Tidings was also ceremoniously released by Indian Embassy Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires Rajiv Kumar Mishra showcasing the school\u2019s stellar academic journey.\"\"<\/div>\n
Chief Guest Rajiv Kumar Mishra lauded the school for its unwavering commitment to nurturing academic excellence and fostering a holistic learning environment. He praised the dedication of both staff and students, and commended the ISB for the smooth conduct of the NEET-UG examination, hosted on its campus.\"\"<\/div>\n
Hon.Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, in his presidential address, attributed the school\u2019s remarkable academic success to the collective efforts of its educators, parents, and the broader school community. \u00a0In a moment of special honour, the newly instituted \u00a0Swetha Shaji Memorial Awards were conferred upon Esha Ashutosh Mairal, Dania Hibah, and Jessica Vyland for securing a perfect score of 100 in Marketing in the Class XII CBSE examination.<\/div>\n

Earlier the commenced with the national anthems of Bahrain and India, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran, a school prayer, and an invocation dance and group song.
