Manama: The Interior Minister formed a committee to review all cases of acquiring the Bahraini citizenship since 2010.
The committee was formed following the investigations and reviews conducted by the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs which revealed cases of individuals who obtained the Bahraini citizenship in violation of the law or through the submission of inaccurate information and forged documents.
The committee will verify the accuracy of the data and documents based on which the Bahraini citizenship had been obtained, to take the necessary measures accordingly.
