Manama:Dhruvi Panigrahi, a student of ISB class 8, brought laurels to the school by securing the gold medal in the Under 12–14 (Girls) Intermediate category at the Khalid Bin Hamad Chess Championship. The prestigious event was organised by the Ministry of Education and held on the 24th and 27th of April 2025 at the Shaikh Khalifa Stadium, Isa Town. Demonstrating exceptional strategic skills and focus, Dhruvi achieved a remarkable feat by winning all the matches in her category, thereby securing first place. She was coached by Physical Education Teacher Saikat Sarkar.
