Manama: The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) formally inducted the Prefect Council for the academic year 2025-2026 during an Investiture Ceremony held on Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, at the Jashanmal Auditorium. ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese lighted the ceremonial lamp in the presence of Hon. Asst. Secretary and Hon. Member -Academics Ranjini Mohan, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Senior School and Academic Administration Vice-Principal G. Satheesh, Middle Section Vice-Principal Jose Thomas, Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas, as well as various head teachers, coordinators, and faculty members. The solemn occasion began with the national anthem, the recitation from the Holy Quran and the school prayer, setting a respectful and dignified tone for the proceedings. The oath of office was administered by Principal VR Palaniswamy. Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese gave the presidential address.
The Prefect Council, comprising students from Classes IV to XII, was selected through a rigorous process based on personal interviews and leadership potential, with a focus on effective communication between students and school management.
The following students were appointed to lead their respective levels:
· Level A (Classes XI & XII): Joel George Jogi as Head Boy and Meenakshi Madhu Deepthi as Head Girl.
· Level B (Classes IX & X): Tharun Rejith as Head Boy and Ghaniya Siddiqui as Head Girl.
· Level C (Classes VI to VIII): Aadinath Anish as Head Boy and Nia Pearl Naveen as Head Girl.
· Level D (Classes IV & V): Sayed Ali Hameed Mohamed as Head Boy and Aaliyah Shanavas as Head Girl.
Both the Head Boy and Head Girl pledged to carry out their duties with commitment and perseverance, aiming to uphold the values and dignity of their office and contribute meaningfully to the school and society. Senior section students Abijith Binu, Evana Rachel Binu, Jalena Brawin and Meet Mehul were the masters of ceremonies.
