Manama: The Pravasi Legal Cell (PLC) Bahrain Chapter celebrated its second anniversary in a grand manner at the KIMS Auditorium in Umal Hasam on July 22, 2024. The event saw distinguished guests, including the Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Vinod Jacob, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
In his address, Ambassador Jacob applauded the remarkable activities of the PLC both in Bahrain and globally. He emphasized the critical role of organizations like the PLC in supporting the expatriate community in Bahrain and expressed his hope for continued assistance from such groups. The Ambassador also took the opportunity to launch the latest newsletter of the PLC The “BRIDGE”

Highlighting the evening A cultural feast, “Threads of Justice: A Journey through Fashion Trends,” featuring participants from seven different nationalities. This unique event aligns with PLC’s mandate to weave together the diverse threads of our community in the pursuit of justice and cultural harmony.
A significant highlight of the evening was the cover launch of PLC’s upcoming book, “Chronicles of Justice and Beyond,” which documents attended cases handled by the organization. This momentous occasion was marked by enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The participants of the short film contest organised by Pravasi legal cell where also felicitated with certificates and mementos in the event.A special health talk on Kidney Health delivered by Dr Mahesh Krishnaswamy,Consultant Urologist, at Kims Health Hospital higlights the event.
Ms. Neena Wilson skillfully anchored the event as the Master of Ceremonies. Additionally, three Governing Council members of the PLC—Mr. Ganesh Raja, Mr. Mohammed Saleem, and Ms. Ramanpreet Praveen—were felicitated for their outstanding contributions to the organization.
The event not only celebrated the achievements of the PLC over the past two years but also reinforced its commitment to advocating for and supporting expatriate communities. The grand celebration was a testament to the PLC’s dedication to justice and community service.
