Manama: The Indian Ladies Association (ILA) reaffirmed its commitment to community service by organizing a Labour Camp outreach program on Friday, 7th February 2025, at Al Hajiyat, East Riffa. The initiative aimed to provide essential support to 60 workers by distributing dry food rations and T-shirts
The food rations, carefully selected for their long shelf life, were chosen to offer sustained nutritional support, while the T-shirts added a thoughtful touch of care to the initiative. The event opened with a welcome address by ILA Hon. President, Ms. Kiran Mangle, who expressed gratitude for the workers’ dedication and hard work.
During the visit, Ms. Mangle also introduced the Speak Easy English classes offered by ILA, highlighting the importance of skill development. The initiative received an enthusiastic response, with several workers expressing interest in joining the program to enhance their communication skills.
ILA extends its heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Sandra Palanna and her husband, Ms. Tamanna Chaudhury Malik, Ms. Anjali Gupta, Ms. Shivani Arora, Ms. Meena Bhatia, and Ms. Anita Bhagwan for their generosity and contributions in making this initiative a success.
